Every school with participating student needs to be registered first. There is no penalty for having school registered and not having any participating students. Schools are encouraged to register themselves as soon as possible, to expedite project registration process.
If your schools in not officially participating in our science fair program, you can still register as a home school project. You still need to register school and teacher for official participation. Please use your last name as a school name and register student's parent or guardian as a teacher under your home school name.
(Step 3) Teacher Registration
Who should complete this step: Teacher or parent if home schooled
Only science teachers that might have students participating at 2024 High Plains Regional Science and Engineering Fair need to be registered. There is no penalty for registering as a teacher and not having any participating students, thus teachers are encouraged to register themselves as soon as their school is registered, to expedite project registration process.
(Step 4) Project Registration
Who should complete this step: students, teachers or parent for younger students
There is maximum limit of (3) students per project and project number; and only one project per registration and project number. Any additional students for the project will not be allowed to participate. Once your registration is completed it is recommended that you print out the confirmation page and tape it to the back of your project board.
